September certainly arrived in style bringing baby blue sky and warm sunshine. I spent most of today at the allotment, weeding and digging over the side paths. The Very First Harvest

My very first harvest from plot 33 happened today, a couple of sweetcorn cobs made the short journey home in my bag, destined for my lunch. A touch on the small side but oh so perfectly formed, it’s mad to think not so long ago I pushed the seed into pots of compost and daydreamed
